Hi, my friend was diagnosed with PCOS and she was only 13. We went to our GP and he put her on an anti-androgen (topiramate). After taking her off of the anti-androgen (topiramate), she had some blood tests which showed a higher level of estrogen and testosterone and was started on a 5mg tablet of finasteride. I was told she is not taking finasteride and she is fine with that as she can still use the pill. She says she's taking Propecia but I'm not sure how much it's going to cost. She also said she's worried about her hair loss. My friend has been taking Propecia for 2 years now.
